Creating A New Account Mapping Template

Perform the following steps to create a new account mapping template.

  1. From the Account Mapping selection screen menu, click New to open the main Account Mapping screen.

  2. At the Journal Number and Adj. Journal Number (Adjustment Journal Number) fields, enter the appropriate journal numbers. If you are unsure of the journal numbers to use, click the search icon (magnifying glass) to open a window from which you can choose the journal number.

  3. At the Transaction Date Field prompt, use the drop-down list to select a method used to record the transaction date.

  4. At the Reference Field prompt, use the drop-down list to select the text that will display at the Reference Field. Click the Calculation Builder icon (calculator) to open a window that allows you to customize the entry.

  5. In the Template Lines Area, use the drop-down list to select a location from the Target Location field..

  6. At the Account Number field, enter the account number to which the data should be sent. If you are unsure of the account number to use, click the search icon (magnifying glass) to open a window that allows you to use various criteria to search for the account number.

  7. For the remaining fields, use the drop-down lists to select appropriate entries. Click a field’s Calculation Builder icon (calculator) to open a window that allows you to customize the entry.

  8. Save Your New Template

  9. After completing your entries, click Save on the menu to save your new template.
